The county offers a couple of programs. They provide sterilization for pets of owners receiving public assistance.  The sterilization is free with the purchase of the county license. Or, if you don't qualify for the free program they have low-cost packages available. And, the "Spay Our Strays" program provides low-cost sterilization of feral outdoor cats through a Trap, Neuter and Return (TNR) Program.
